A column on an inspirational page of a newpaper read like this. Comments added are in [brackets].
"This fathers' day, consider some of the qualities of the "new" fathers of today. [Who determined the standards for this "new" father? Certainly not God as He long ago stated the responsibilities and duties of a father. It must have been the satanically-influenced feminism of female self-centeredness and female supremacy that changed the definition of a father. Satan has shaped the new male and female roles and the international bankers and global corporations are forcing those roles on the people through the indoctrination and propaganda of public education and the media - news, movies, tv, books, music, ads, etc.] New fathers not only have a new addition to their family; they share a more hands-on role in parenting than the dads of a previous generation. [Dads and moms both need adequate rest so that they can be good parents and spouses. Spending quality time with family is a top requirement. If both mom and dad are working, then the family needs to adjust their priorities. A mother has all she can handle taking care of children, especially newborns. The practice of allowing other people - outside the family - known as day care to have a large part of the responsibility of watching and helping a child to grow is not good parenting. Dad has more than enough responsibility earning the money to provide for the family's needs and getting the rest he needs to do it day after day. If both parents are working then there is a good chance that they have taken on too many material things and too much debt. The evil oppressors invented debt and the concept of living beyond our means. It's our responsibility to get out of debt and stay out of it and adjust our living standards accordingly. Slow down, sell what is not needed, move to a less expensive home - the children will be the better for it if parents will spend more time in a relaxed family home with their children instead of being so busy outside the home working, in social activities, etc. Children need parents they can talk to, trust and feel comfortable around. How many material things we have is far down the list from a loving, happy home.] Both parents are truly dedicated to bringing their child into the world...gone are the days of dad pacing the floor in the waiting room. He is right there in the delivery room, the greatest coach ever! [This is not a traditional male role or duty. It's not a role that a masculine, non-feminized man is comfortable with. It's another feminist vision of the new male role that was introduced and sold to the general public by movies and television. It's one thing to support mom in her difficult task of being pregnant and giving birth. It's another thing entirely to scurry around the delivery room with a video camera. This is a prime example of technology in the wrong place.] Sleep deprived dads share in the day to day duties of new parenting - getting up in the middle of the night, changing diapers, feeding baby. [An occasional changing or feeding is one thing, but a regular duty of that which belongs to the mother is a destructive role-reversal aimed at feminizing men and "liberating" women from their God-given responsibilities. The nurturing tasks were given by God to the mother because of her unique abilities and nature to do them best. Changing and feeding is no more difficult than working every day in the world to provide for a family. Mothers who work outside the home are burning the candle at both ends - as are fathers who work all day without benefit of adequate night-time sleep because they are nagged or belittled into sharing in the traditional female role. No doubt, it's difficult to be a stay-at-home mom and housewife. The responsibilities of keeping up with young children at home are awesome as are the responsibilities of keeping older children safe from the evils of the world. So, dad and other family members need to make sure that mom gets enough rest at night or daytime naps when possible and time away from her enormous responsibility. And mom and the children need to make sure that dad gets enough nightly rest so that he can be a good worker and provider each day during the week - trying to catch up on sleep on the weekend doesn't work.] Today's dads are no better than yesterday's dads, [This is correct - in many cases, fathers and mothers are not as good as they used to be. They have been brainwashed to accept new roles that are anti-God and anti-family.] The duties and responsibilities have simply changed along with the culture. [Again, they have only changed because of indoctrination through education, culture and the media. Not everyone has allowed themselves to be deceived.] As you worship with your family this Fathers' day, remember your own special dad, and thank your Father in Heaven for him! [This has not changed and we all need to remember this Word from God - Malachi 2:10 Don't we all have one father? Hasn't one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, profaning the covenant of our fathers?]
Ephesians 6:4 You fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Colossians 3:19 Husbands, love your wives, and don't be bitter against them. 21 Fathers, don't provoke your children, so that they won't be discouraged.
