The US Armed Forces Veterans and their families have made and continue to be called on to make great sacrifices in the name of freedom and liberty. Most veterans of past U.S. wars have sought no recognition or reward for the tremendous sacrifice required in serving this country. We owe them a very great debt and certainly our respect. Following recent attacks within our borders, many Americans, active duty, reserve and civilian, continue to serve, ever vigilant to protect the freedom of the United States.
We need to realize that wars are almost always started by elitists with the help of international banks and corporations. Wars are fought for the benefit of special interests, to reshape global geopolitical reality, to decrease the population of the world and for other reasons that are not always apparent to those fighting and dying in them. Unfortunately, many good men and women, boys and girls have given their lives for an ideal that may not have been the under-lying reason a war, conflict or police action was being fought. The horror of war is that most of them are fought by average, decent people but the bankers, defense corporations, governments and other companies profit from them. The awful truth is that neither World Wars I or II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Desert Shield nor Afghanistan had to be fought. The reasons for these wars were geopolitical re-alignment (politics,) profit, population control and social conditioning. It may be too horrible for you to believe, but the evil ones who temporarily run part of this world enjoy seeing average people murder, maim and try to destroy each other. The wealthiest elitists enjoy, as much as they can enjoy anything, their global games of pitting the sexes, the races and the nations of the world against each other. Adolf Hitler was allowed and encouraged to come to power in Germany by international bankers and corporations who profitted from the war. The bankers loaned money to all the nations involved in the conflict and the "victorious" nations at the end of the war borrowed more money to rebuild the nations they had fought to destroy. The same thing happened in the US Civil War. The international financiers loaned money to both the North and the South; after the war they loaned money to the North - the Union - to rebuild the Southern states and cities devastated by the war and by the renegade bands of mercenary soldiers hired by the Union to persecute the southern rebels after the war was officially over.
In the Old Testament, God placed a hedge of protection around the nations who served Him and remained faithful to Him. When those nations strayed and did not respond to His calling them back to Him, that protection was withdrawn and enemies from without were allowed to harm or destroy the straying peoples. Our current troubles and the threat from those within our own borders seeking to limit the freedom of the individual should make us mindful of our relationship with God and what we need to do to return to Him and once again put Him first in our thoughts and deeds.
Historically, wars have been fought for control of land, natural resources, and many other things besides the preservation of liberty and freedom. It is our duty to prayerfully and wisely select leaders who we believe will lead our country in the right direction. This is not always an easy task as it is not always easy to determine if what a leader says is what he truly believes or what he needs to say to get elected. It is a great responsibility to choose leaders and many of us struggle with those decisions at every election. May God grant us all the wisdom to see the truth through the lies and to choose the right leaders. Often we do not have the best choice as perhaps the best leader would combine the best principles from multiple political parties - fair and adequate national health care for all citizens, jobs, lower prices, morality in government, environmental protection, government programs that help people instead of corporations and the like.
War of the worlds.
British author H.G. Wells wrote a classic science fiction novel that was made into two very popular Hollywood films and countless other lesser films and television programs. The idea or the very thought of an invasion by a sinister alien race sends chills up and down the spine of many. But, what if the alien invasion was a hoax perpetrated by a sinister world system of combined international banking, government and military power. Or, what if that alien race was not actually alien but demonic?
Early in his career, Orson Welles, the famous Hollywood actor and director, headed the Mercury Theatre in New York. Having regular national broadcasts on CBS radio, the theatre company was the perfect choice to air a radio play based on H.G. Wells famous story. The radio broadcast informed the listener, at the beginning and at the end, that is was all a Halloween joke put on by Welles and his theatrical cronies. But, it was much more sinister than that. According to many sources, Welles and CBS had been secretly convinced and paid, by a number of very wealthy benefactors, to write a script and deliver a play in a way that people tuning in somewhere in the middle might think that the events they were listening to were actually happening. There were limited commercial interruptions - a very unusual practice at that time for any radio or television program that generates revenue by airing commercials.
During that broadcast, a panic set in, especially in the northeastern United States where the supposed invasion took place. Ultimately, the radio broadcast of The War of the Worlds was a test to see how a nation would react to such an event. On the following day, in front of CBS cameras and microphones, Welles sheepishly apologized to an angry nation, saying that it was only a play.
Why would a group of shadowy financiers want to sponsor a play that would panic much of the nation, particularly in the population centers of the northeast? To measure how they would react to any such event including a real or fake alien invasion in the future. What would bring a nation or even the world to its knees before a dictator more readily and quickly than a real or imagined invasion from outer space? Under those circumstances, the dictator could impose martial law and completely change the world system and the world order in a relatively short period of time. Did I mention that H.G. Wells was a socialist who advocated a new world order in his essays? One proudly bears the title, The New World Order.
In a darker mode, many believe that alien activity of the outer space kind is purely a matter of the rhelm of satan. They believe that aliens from outer space are actually demons who have a domain in a region of the skies that have a certain power over those who have opened themselves to evil influence by participation in the occult world of satanism, witchcraft, tarot cards, quija boards and other practices including being devoted to role-playing games.
Many have been invited and seduced down the path of demonic delusion by television programs, films, music and much from the the world of entertainment. A viewing of some of the films of Orson Welles would seem to support the rumors that he at least dabbled in the occult, being a devotee of magic and perhaps darker things. Welles passed from this earth during the month of October, but not on Halloween. To his credit, perhaps because of his regret in participating in the radio fraud, his greatest achievement is said by many to be the classic film, Citizen Kane - a film in which he acted, directed and shared credit for the screenplay.
The film tells the story of a young boy, taken from his parents at an early age. He was sent, against his wishes, to New York, where a banker became his guardian. The boy became very rich, very powerful and very selfish. His choices affected the lives of many - often, not in a good way. The ultimate tragedy and truth of the story is that the unhappy boy, who became an unhappy man, was never fulfilled. He accumulated vast wealth and material things, none of which could fill the emptiness inside him. He spent his life using his money and power to manipulate and control people and things as he thought best rather than doing what was best for others. He never learned that serving others unselfishly is where happiness and meaning in life is found.
The gift of salvation and the promise of eternal life is freely given to those who trust in Jesus as their savior. Those who believe, pray, read the Bible and allow themselves to grow in spirit and truth by trusting in Jesus and in the guidance of the Holy Spirit are brought into the family of God and will spend eternity with Him. You can read more about Jesus in the Gospel of John.
