This site presents words and music, many of the words are far more profound and far more important than the music. Beyond that, it is also an opportunity to share thoughts that challenge us to consider issues of great importance.

What is important in life? To love and glorify God; to be as unselfish as possible; to serve others; to find out what God wants us to do and to do it. That is a lifetime's worth of work and I'm still trying to get it right.

I don't presume to know all truth, but I know One who does. I believe the source of truth to be God and one of the ways He presents it to us is through His holy word, The Bible.

The United States of America is a country originally formed by men, women and children fleeing from religious and other forms of persecution, the oppression of state-controlled religion and tyrannical regimes. They were seeking to establish a nation based on Judeo-Christian principles, guaranteeing liberty and freedom. Of course, there were others who came here to profit and to take as much and as fast as they could. As a nation, we are drifting away from the better, higher founding principles of our nation and too often we have replaced God's will with our own.

I must agree with the apostle Paul, who wrote in 1 Timothy 1:15 - This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
Too often in the past, I've been a judgmental, proud hypocrite, so what you will find here is mostly the Holy Scripture inspired by God that we can all learn from.
In Luke 6:42, Jesus spoke - How can you say to your brother, Brother, let me pull out the straw that is in your eye, when you yourself don't see the timber beam that is in your own eye. You hypocrite, cast out first the stick of timber out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to pull out the dry twig that is in your brother's eye.

And from the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 13 -
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not love, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8 love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

The gift of salvation and the promise of eternal life is freely given to those who trust in Jesus as their savior. Those who believe, pray, read the Bible and allow themselves to grow in spirit and truth by trusting in Jesus and in the guidance of the Holy Spirit are brought into the family of God and will spend eternity with Him. You can read more about Jesus in the Gospel of John.
