Proverbs 31:1 The words of king Lemo'el; the oracle which his mother taught him. 2 "Oh, my son!" Oh, son of my womb! Oh, son of my vows! 3 Don't give your strength to women, Nor your ways to that which destroys kings. 4 It is not for kings, Lemo'el; It is not for kings to drink wine; Nor for princes to say, 'Where is strong drink?' 5 Lest they drink, and forget the law, And pervert the justice due to anyone who is afflicted. 6 Give strong drink to him who is ready to perish; And wine to the bitter in soul: 7 Let him drink, and forget his poverty, And remember his misery no more. 8 Open your mouth for the mute, In the cause of all who are left desolate. 9 Open your mouth, judge righteously, And serve justice to the poor and needy."

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go - in the way he was born to live, And when he is old he will not depart from it.

Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honor your father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) 3 That it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.

Colossians 3:18 Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives, and don't be bitter against them. 20 Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord. 21 Fathers, don't provoke your children, so that they won't be discouraged.
